How to Count the Carbs in ExtendBar
If you are counting your carbs – whether it's to help you manage your meal plan or determine if an adjustment to your insulin is appropriate – count only the carbohydrates in ExtendBar that have a short-term impact on blood sugar. These carbohydrates are referred to as "faster-acting" or "net carbs". The remaining carbohydrates, "slower acting", convert slowly to blood sugar and therefore, have minimal impact on blood sugar.
